Call for Applications for the City of Montebello Downtown
K-Rail Public Art Project

The City of Montebello invites artists and art organizations to submit applications for an original design treatment for K-Rails (traffic barricades) in Downtown Montebello. The selected application will be reproduced on a vinyl wrap and affixed to the street-side surfaces of the K-Rails located along Whittier Boulevard to create “parklets” for outdoor dining. The opportunity is open to artists and designers over the age of 18.

Applications are due by October 23, 2025.
