Curb Address Painting

Curb Address Painting Program Coming to Montebello Summer 2025!

Curb Address PaintingClear and visible curb address numbers help emergency responders, delivery drivers, and visitors locate homes quickly and safely. Over time, these numbers can fade, making them hard to read. To support public safety and enhance community visibility, the City of Montebello is launching a citywide curb address painting program, scheduled to begin later this summer.

This program will be carried out by Canning Hunger, a local nonprofit organization that has been serving Southern California communities since 1992. Canning Hunger is authorized by the City of Montebello to repaint curb addresses as both a public service and a fundraising initiative.

There is no cost to residents for this service. While Canning Hunger may accept voluntary donations, they are never required. Any donations collected directly support the nonprofit’s mission to feed hungry families throughout the region.

If you have questions about the program or want to confirm whether a painter is officially affiliated with the City, please contact the Public Works Department at 323-887-1460.

Let’s keep Montebello safe, visible, and easy to navigate for all!
