David Sosnowski
Director of Recreation & Community Services
David Sosnowski has 20 years of experience in municipal government with the City of Montebello. David began working for the City of Montebello in 2001 for the Parks and Recreation Department in the Parks Maintenance Division where he became an Athletic Field Maintenance specialist. In 2004, David became a Community Services Specialist for the Recreation Division assisting the oversight of the City’s Sports and After School Recreation programs. In 2008, David became a Community Services Coordinator in the Sports Office overseeing youth and adult sports and special events logistics.

David's current position with the City is the Director of Recreation & Community Services. In David's tenure, he has overseen several park improvement projects including the Taylor Ranch Greenspace Project, organized and overseen largescale City events and functions, and the completion and adoption of the City's updated comprehensive Park Master Plan and Facilities Needs Assessment.

David grew up in the City of Montebello where he enjoyed the City's park system and participated in City programs and events throughout his childhood. David graduated from Cantwell Sacred Heart of Mary High School in 2002 and California State University of Los Angeles in 2007.
