Public Review and Comment Period:

The draft 2024-2025 Annual Action Plan will be available for public review and comment beginning on January 29, 2024, and ending on February 28, 2024.

During the comment period, comments and/or questions may be submitted to:

Attention Developers:

Gateway Cities Affordable Housing Trust was awarded a five-million-dollar ($5 million) grant that will provide developers with a revolving low-interest loan for the purpose of acquisition and pre-development expenses. This funding will allow developers to secure financing for affordable development housing developments, increasing the competitiveness for other funds, and reducing delays and costs for construction.

Fannie Mae is offering a Sponsor- Dedicated Workforce (SDW) Program for borrowers wanting to establish rent restrictions as part of a private financing approach to address the affordability crisis for missing- middle renters. Sponsor-Dedicated Workforce (SDW) Housing is designed for conventional properties and provides sponsors with favorable financing when they create or preserve rents on a minimum of 20% of the units affordable to renters earning 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for the life of the loan. In certain high-cost markets, sponsors can create or preserve a minimum of 20% of rents affordable to those renters earning up to 100% – 120% of AMI.
