Meetings

The City Council/Successor Agency meets on the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. with Closed Session and Regular Session begins immediately thereafter; if there is no Closed Session, Regular Session will begin at 6:00 p.m., in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 1600 West Beverly Boulevard, Montebello, CA 90640. The agenda and agenda packet related to items on this agenda are available for public inspection 72 hours before each meeting.

To request copies of City Council Agendas, please contact the City Clerk's Office by email at [email protected] or by phone at (323) 887-1359. Copies will be provided upon payment of the applicable fee in accordance with the City's Fee Schedule. 

All meetings are open to the public in person, but viewers may watch the City Council Meetings from home by clicking on the link below or on Spectrum Public Access Channel 3 for all Spectrum cable subscribers.

Public Comments

Members of the public may provide comments in person or remotely during City Council meetings.

In-Person Speakers: If you plan to attend in person, please complete a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk before the public comment period begins.

Virtual Participation: Advance registration is required to provide public comments remotely. To register, visit www.mymontebellomeetings.com or call (323) 887-1359 before the meeting begins.

Important: Calling the meeting's live listening line without registering to speak will allow you to listen to the meeting only. You will not be added to the public comment speaker queue.

How to Register to Speak Remotely

1. Visit www.mymontebellomeetings.com.
2. Click Register for the upcoming City Council meeting.
3. Select how you will be attending and enter your information.
4. Select the agenda item(s) you wish to speak on or select Public Comment on Non-Agenda Items.
5. Submit your registration.
6. Call (323) 530-2849, enter Meeting Code 11316, and follow the prompts to join the speaker queue.
