Help Keep Paint Out of the Trash
Residents are encouraged to properly recycle leftover paint instead of placing it in the trash, pouring it down drains, or disposing of it improperly. Leftover paint can be recycled through approved paint recycling programs and household hazardous waste collection facilities.
The City of Montebello recommends using PaintCare®, California’s statewide paint recycling program, which provides convenient drop-off locations where residents can bring eligible leftover paint for recycling. PaintCare drop-off sites accept products such as house paint, primers, stains, sealers, and clear coatings.
