The Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA) is going to start accepting applications for all 16 Site-Based Waiting Lists (SBWL) that cover both general occupancy and elderly-designated properties. These SBWLs will be open from August 17, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. until September 16, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., or until they get enough registrations, whichever comes first. Please note that this does not include the waiting list for the Section 8 Program, which is still closed.

The properties are located throughout various cities in Los Angeles County.

 The District Surveillance and Enforcement (DSE) Branch of the Environmental Health Division ensures that residential housing within Los Angeles County is safe, sanitary, and fit for human habitation. DSE conducts routine and complaint inspections of approximately 60,000 apartment buildings with 5 units or more units, and approximately 12,000 swimming pools and spas associated with these buildings. DSE also responds to complaints concerning homes or apartment buildings of 4 units or less.
