COMMUNITY OUTREACH MEETING:  2025-2030 CONSOLIDATED PLAN UPDATE

We invite you to participate in this essential planning process by attending the community outreach meeting held

on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at City Hall from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.  

An updated Consolidated Plan is prepared every five years, and its planning process serves as the framework for a community-wide dialogue to identify housing, public facilities, public improvement, public service, and economic development needs and priorities.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH SURVEY

We invite you to participate in the City of Montebello's community outreach survey.  Your participation in this survey will be invaluable in helping us identify key issues and prioritize needs, with a particular focus on housing, parks and recreation, community facilities, social services, and fair housing. We sincerely appreciate your contribution to this important endeavor.

The survey will be available from October 7 through October 17, 2024.

NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY (NOFA): FY 2025-2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

The City of Montebello is eligible to receive annual funding from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program for the 2025-26 Program Year for qualifying projects and programs.  CDBG funds may be used for a variety of community development and housing activities, including public services, social services, public facility and infrastructure improvements, and residential code enforcement and housing improvement projects.

Applications will be accepted from October 7, 2024, through November 6, 2024.  Please send completed applications to the following:
