Summer Food Service Program

SFSP

The City of Montebello, in partnership with the California Department of Education and the USDA Summer Food Service                  Program, serves FREE meals to children ages 18 and below during the summer break.  The lunch and snack meals are              distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at four local park sites. No registration is required.

1060 S. Greenwood Ave.

Lunch / 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Snack / 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

City Park

201 S. Taylor Ave.

Lunch / 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

Snack / 3:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

 

Grant Rea Park

600 N. Rea Dr.

Lunch / 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

 

Reggie Rodriguez Park

200 W. Mines Ave.

Lunch / 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

All meals must be eaten on site.

 

Volunteers are needed during the summer period to assist with setup, meal distribution, site supervision, and cleanup. If you would like to volunteer or need more information, contact the Recreation and Community Services Department at (323) 887-4540.
